hey there! welcome to the home of the now-defunct Sonoma County, California
band, The Jeremy Irons Project! (or the Jip, as some affectionately call them...)

the Jip lived from Jan. 1997 to Dec. 2000 - and in those years they recorded
a demo, a released album, and an unreleased album. the Jip played such local
spots as The Phoenix Theatre, Bottom of the Hill, the Luther Burbank Center,
the Moonlight, the Port Lite, Marty's Top of the Hill, and even somewhere off
                                                    in the hills...........

the band originally started as just "Jeremy Irons", and it wasn't until band friend
Dustin Heald and band member Cory Thrall were working on a script for a Jip movie
that the name change came about - Dustin's notebook (where he kept all of the notes
and lines for the script) was titled "the Jeremy Irons Project" in bold letters. the
band was never the same again, and the Jip was born! the movie, however, was never made.

hopefully people remember the Jip for being silly, loud, and cheesy (in a good way).
the Jip were also rocking, rolling, and ready to change directions at the toss of a
hat. they weren't geniuses, it's true - but what they were was something that
needed to be done in the time it was done in, if that makes any sense. the time
might not have been right for them in '97 thru '00 of the Sonoma County scene, but
the time they lived was definitely theirs, either way...........
